Description
Laboratory installation — desktop version: pressure gauges, pressure sensors, water meters and controls are installed on the panel, at the base there is a hydraulic tank and a water supply pump to the system.
1. Allows you to study means and methods of measuring pressure; gain skills in measuring pressure using dial gauges and pressure sensors of various types; evaluate the error of measurement results.
2. Allows you to study means and methods for measuring the amount of liquid and flow; gain skills in measuring quantities with quantity counters.
The installation includes a set of pressure sensors, dial gauges, and a power source for pressure sensors.
Laboratory works:
1. Study of a dial pressure gauge, its principle of operation, determination of the relative measurement error at different pressure levels.
2. Study of a spring-type indicator, its principle of operation, use for assessing pressure levels, determining the relative measurement error at various pressure levels when compared with pressure gauge readings.
3. Study of a pressure sensor with an analog output signal measured using a voltmeter (multimeter), the principle of operation, determination of the relative measurement error when compared with pressure gauge readings.
4. Study of instruments for measuring fluid flow.
5. Study of the measuring diaphragm as a device for measuring water flow.
6. Study of pump characteristics.
