Description
Laboratory installation — desktop version: pressure gauges, pressure sensors and controls are installed on the panel, at the base there is a receiver and a compressor with a power supply.
Allows you to study means and methods of measuring pressure; gain skills in measuring pressure using dial gauges and pressure sensors of various types; evaluate the error of measurement results.
The installation includes a set of pressure sensors, dial gauges, a receiver, a power source for pressure sensors, a compressor for creating pressure, and a multimeter.
Pressure change range, MPa – from 0+0.001 to 0.5-0.005
Pressure measurement error, % — 5
AC power supply:
voltage, V – 220;
frequency, Hz – 50;
power consumption, kW, no more than 0.6;
Overall dimensions no more than, mm – 700*500*600 (length, transverse dimension, height);
Weight no more, kg – 20;
Receiver capacity 1 l.
Laboratory works:
1. Study of a dial pressure gauge, its principle of operation, determination of the relative measurement error at different pressure levels.
2. Study of a spring-type indicator, its principle of operation, use for assessing pressure levels, determining the relative measurement error at various pressure levels when compared with pressure gauge readings.
3. Study of a pressure sensor with an analog output signal measured using a voltmeter (multimeter), the principle of operation, determination of the relative measurement error when compared with pressure gauge readings.
4. Study of a pressure sensor with a digital output signal, the principle of operation, determination of the relative measurement error when compared with the pressure gauge readings.
5. Study of the design of the pressure reducing valve used to regulate air pressure in the measurement system.
6. Study of the compressor design that creates air pressure in the receiver and determination of its performance.
