General requirements
The stand should consist of two modules — a measuring module and a headlight module.
The headlight module is a frame made of aluminum profile with a tabletop made of gray laminated chipboard with a front panel made of anodized aluminum with a full-color image applied to it using metallography technology.
The front panel contains two headlights with different light sources — a halogen lamp and a xenon one; the power supply terminals, headlight terminals, controls, ignition unit, and electrical measuring instruments for voltage and current are also located on the front panel.
The measuring module is an optical-mechanical device for checking and adjusting headlights, allows you to check the directivity pattern of the light beam and measure the intensity of the headlights.
The device is equipped with a digital lux meter and a laser pointer. Fixed stand with sliding nylon pads.
The device allows you to:
— Measuring the angles of inclination of the cut-off boundary of the low beam beam to the plane of the working platform on which the vehicle is installed;
— Measuring the angular deviation from the zero position in the horizontal direction of the intersection of the left horizontal and right inclined sections of the cut-off boundary of the light beam of the low beam headlights;
— Measuring luminous intensity and checking the technical condition of vehicle headlights.
