Description

The virtual training complex is a laboratory workshop in which, using three-dimensional graphics, a graphical representation of the process of towing a vessel with interactive tips and elements of an interactive workshop with calculation tasks and graphic constructions is implemented.
The complex allows students to clearly demonstrate the navigation equipment of inland waterways, as well as night (running and parking), daytime and sound alarms prescribed by the rules of navigation on inland waterways of the Russian Federation and the International Rules for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
When studying ship lights, the rotation of an object (vessel) makes it possible to observe the dependence of the sectors of lights on the angle of observation of the vessel in the horizontal plane, which greatly facilitates the understanding of the process of identifying ships and the parameters of their movement at night, which is especially important in the initial stages of training.
