Description
Purpose. The laboratory stand should be designed for practical work on studying the multiplex control system of a passenger car injection engine, the principles of its operation and operating modes, as well as the formation of initial skills in diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a car.
General requirements.
1. The laboratory stand must be a working model of a multiplex electronic control system for a passenger car injection engine.
2. The electronic control system must use original automotive sensors, electronic units and actuators to ensure full functionality of the electronic CAN control system for the vehicle’s injection engine.
3. It must be possible to study the operation of the control system in starter modes, idling, engine operation under load and in emergency modes.
4. It must be possible to set the crankshaft rotation speed, engine temperature and shaft load, as well as introduce malfunctions into the operation of the vehicle’s engine control system.
5 It must be possible to use diagnostic equipment to examine the operation of the fuel system, measure and display on the monitor screen in tabular and graphical form the operating parameters of the electronic engine control system, and search for malfunctions in the electronic systems of a passenger car.
6. To study the level and shape of signals transmitted through the information buses of the vehicle engine control system, the module must provide the ability to connect measuring equipment to contacts in electrical circuits.
