Description
The training complex is designed to study the design of various types of ship logs.
The training complex contains a swimming pool filled with water and a moving platform-carriage attached to it. Various types of logs and recording sensors are installed on the carriage, which makes it possible to test the logs and clearly demonstrate their operation.
The pool can be made with an imitation of the bottom topography, which makes it possible to bring the experimental conditions closer to real ones, and this complex can also be combined with a complex for testing ship propulsion and ship hull prototyping by building pool modules on a common one.
Overall dimensions of the pool: not less than 5000x600x300 mm
The maximum possible length of a small-sized test pool is 10 m W-900mm D-600mm
Types of sensors/logs that can be used in the system:
• Mechanical log simulator, for studying the general principles of measurement and conducting laboratory work.
• Hydrodynamic log – a simulator of a log built on the measurement of hydrodynamic pressure
• Doppler hydroacoustic log-simulator, for studying the Doppler method of measuring ship speed with studying the influence of the day’s topography on the quality of the readings.
