Purpose. The laboratory stand is intended for carrying out a set of theoretical, practical and laboratory work to study the design of manual gearboxes, the principles of their functioning and operating modes, determining the characteristics of the gearbox, as well as developing initial skills in diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a car in the courses “Design of Automotive Equipment” «, «Operation of Automotive Equipment», «Design and Calculation of Automotive Equipment».
Description. The stand is a mobile base with a dynamic load stand and a control module installed on it. The mobile base is a stand frame made of rolled steel coated with protective powder enamel. The frame is designed to fasten all elements of the stand and perform a protective function against unauthorized access to the movable elements of the stand. The mobility of the frame is ensured by four swivel wheels installed in its lower part. A dynamic loading stand is a kinematically coupled system mounted inside a mobile base (stand frame). The stand includes: a power electric motor for driving the input shaft of the gearbox, a gearbox assembled with a friction clutch from a commercially produced Oka car; loading device; clutch and gearbox control drive, strain gauge system for measuring torque at the entrance to the gearbox and exit from the gearbox. The strain gauge measurement system is a force measuring strain gauge in a noise-resistant housing mounted on a frame and connected by a sensitive element to an electric motor and a loading device; information from the force sensor in real time is sent to the controller installed in the control module (the controller is described below).
