Description
A drum mill with a rod module (grindability tester) is designed to determine the rod grinding index (RWI) using the F. Bond method, as well as for conducting practical classes on this topic at specialized courses in educational institutions.
The set of rods for determining the Bond grindability index includes:
— at least 6 rods with a diameter, at least 1.25″ and at least 21″ long;
— at least 2 rods with a diameter, at least 1.75“ and at least 21“ long.
The grinding drum of the Bond rod mill has internal dimensions of at least 12′′ x 24′′ and wavy walls.
To simulate a closed grinding cycle in a rod mill, at least 20 kg of material is required.
The Rod Wire Index (RWI) is determined for materials with particle sizes ranging from no narrower than 25 mm to 2.1 mm.
The working display of the mill allows you to set and save in the device’s memory such parameters as the number of revolutions, rotation speed, grinding duration, as well as start and stop the test.
