Description
Designed to study transient attenuation at the junction of optical fibers with longitudinal and transverse displacement of the ends of the optical fiber, to study the influence of the bending radius and bending angle of fiber-optic cables on signal attenuation.
The stand contains:
— LD laser module;
— photodetector module FD;
— device for setting the radius and bending angle of the optical fiber;
— 3-coordinate device for introducing inhomogeneities into the optical cable joint.
— audio frequency signal generator;
— audio power amplifier with speaker;
— control sockets for monitoring signals.
