Description
Virtual laboratory work (program for Windows OS, three-dimensional graphics, emulation of real equipment, guidelines, knowledge control systems, report generation).
Designed to study the processes of current spreading over the soil surface near the ground electrode and to evaluate the effectiveness of various types of ground electrodes to protect people from electric shock.
Technical capabilities:
— Modeling of 3 types of ground electrodes — horizontal tubular lying on the surface of the earth, vertical tubular and hemisphere immersed in the ground
— Change in soil resistivity
— Changing the magnitude of the current through the ground electrode, measurement using a virtual ammeter
— Measuring the potential of the ground surface at various distances from the ground electrode, the potential difference between selected points on the ground surface (step voltage) and the distribution of potential over the ground surface using a virtual voltmeter.
