The virtual training complex contains interactive situational scenarios of fires depending on the type of flammable material, provides a three-dimensional image of the room and the objects located in it, the source of the fire, smoke, fire extinguishing jet, changes in the area of ​​the fire and smoke depending on the actions of the student when extinguishing the fire.
The software has the ability to run in 2 modes. In the «training» mode, the software allows you to preview situational scenarios before starting the exercise. In the “testing” mode, the software provides testing of the student’s theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The assessment of the exercise is carried out as “pass” or “fail” with the display of errors during testing and performing the practical task.
Within the framework of the educational complex, the tasks of developing theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the operation of hand-held fire extinguishers and other primary fire extinguishing equipment are solved. The virtual complex is designed to acquire and maintain knowledge and skills in working with fire extinguishers, teaching methods and algorithms of actions when extinguishing fires of various types for various fire extinguishers. The simulator provides safe practical training for students to work with fire extinguishers and primary fire extinguishing agents, as well as basic algorithms and actions in case of fires and fires of various types.
