Description

The stand consists of a base with a supporting panel on which the studied cam mechanism with a rocker arm is placed. One of four replaceable cams with different profiles can be installed on the shaft of the drive gearmotor with adjustable rotation speed. The cam drives a rocker arm located in a vertical plane that performs a rotational movement. The stand provides the ability to set different resistance forces to the movement of the rocker arm (due to additional springing) and install additional masses on the rocker arm to change its inertia. The measurement system allows you to determine the driving torque on the cam, the angular velocity of the cam, the angular velocity of the rocker arm, and the normal force acting from the cam on the rocker arm.
