Description
Designed to study testing methods for NMSh type gear pumps. On the base of the stand, which is a frame structure made of a metal profile, a supply tank of working fluid — oil, a drive motor module, a gear pump of the NMSh type and a pipeline system with taps, pressure sensors and a flow meter, and a control cabinet are installed.
The drive motor module is designed according to the “Motor-scales” principle with regulation of the motor shaft speed. The motor shaft is connected by a coupling to the shaft of the metering pump. This circuit allows you to measure the torque on the drive motor shaft, which, in combination with the measured rotation speed of the pump shaft, allows you to determine the required pump power at various operating modes.
Measured parameters: pressure in the suction line and discharge line, fluid flow at the pump outlet depending on the engine shaft speed and load, engine shaft speed, engine electrical power consumption, torque on the electric motor/pump shaft.
