Description
Purpose of the stand: the stand is designed to study automation and dispatching systems in water supply systems of various buildings and structures using automated systems based on the SCADA system. Information is transferred using GSM/GPRS modems.
A feature of urban water supply systems is the significant distance of objects from each other. The dispatch system allows you to remotely:
– control all processes occurring at the facilities;
– change the parameters of devices included in the object;
– receive all the necessary information;
–view work protocols;
– create reliable information archives.
The stand consists of three control and monitoring systems connected by a radio channel: a liquid supply control system (pumping station), a consumption control system and a dispatch system.
The hydraulic system of the stand allows for the measurement of fluid flow and pressure with various devices and the automated control of these parameters. Consists of separate fluid supply and fluid control systems. The systems transmit and receive information from the “central control room” via radio modem.
Pressure sensors, flow meters and quantity counters are used as devices and instruments under study.
As a consumer, two “local” sections of the pipeline system are used with installed vane-type meters with an electrical output and valves to adjust the resistance of the section.
The consumer is powered by a pump with a water quantity meter and a pressure sensor installed at the pump outlet. The pump unit has frequency control of the liquid supply. The pump is powered from a technological tank installed on the stand; tank volume is 60 liters. The hydraulic system is closed.
The stand allows for 16 laboratory works in the following areas:
– study of the architecture of the dispatch system for water supply systems;
– study of monitoring and control devices in water supply systems;
– learning to work with the SCADA system;
– study and research of the characteristics of control systems in water supply
