Description

This training complex is designed to train cadets of military schools and armed forces personnel in the rules and methods of operating standard firearms. The complex is an interactive three-dimensional visual educational aid for studying the material parts of various types of weapons, as well as a virtual workshop on the operation of weapons. The complex allows, using three-dimensional graphics and animation, to visually demonstrate and study the structure and design of the main types of weapons, as well as provide a brief illustrated description of the basics of fire training. The complex contains three-dimensional models of various standard weapons and equipment and contains detailed information on the performance characteristics of various small arms. Detailed information is provided on all elements of the weapon design.
All information in the manual is presented in the form of text, graphic and animated material. Animated 3D graphics allow students to clearly demonstrate the components of the weapon, as well as the interaction of the parts and mechanisms of the weapon during loading and shooting. The introduction of such a manual in combination with the traditional use of training weapons makes it possible for the student to master complex material on the operation of weapon automation in just one two-hour lesson.
The educational material in the program is presented in four sections:
• safety measures when handling weapons;
• rules for conducting shooting at the range and in the shooting range;
• three-dimensional atlas of Russian and foreign types of weapons, study of the material part, technical characteristics and ammunition for them;
• practicing techniques and rules for assembling and disassembling weapons presented in the atlas;
• basic rules when shooting: stance, holding the weapon, aiming, releasing the trigger.
