Description
“The complex allows you to gain practical skills in controlling an active phased array antenna (APAA), evaluate the influence of various factors on its performance, and conduct full-scale modeling in the development of adaptive fault-tolerant APAA and software for them.
Practical work and research:
— Studying the principles of formation and control of the APAA radiation pattern.
— Study of the principles of operation of the APAA, automatic measurement of the radiation pattern for a given distance within ±90 degrees from the APAA normal with an accuracy of 0.1.
— Study of the influence of the number of emitters on the radiation pattern.
— Study of the influence of the bit depth (up to 12 bits) of phase shifters on the radiation pattern.
— Study of the influence of the ratio of the amplitudes of the emitters on the radiation pattern.
— Study of the influence of phase mismatch on the radiation pattern.
— Study of the amplitude mismatch on the radiation pattern.
— Study of the influence of failures of individual APAA components on the radiation pattern.
Compound:
1. Rotating APAA of eight emitters with independent control of frequency, phase and amplitude for each channel.
2. Stand with receiver for measuring the diagram at different distances.
3. Control unit.
4. Visualization and control unit with specialized software.
