Description
The stand is designed to study the processes of current spreading over the soil surface near a ground electrode and allows one to evaluate the effectiveness of various types of ground electrodes for protecting people from electric shock.
The stand is used for carrying out laboratory work when studying the course “Life Safety” in higher and secondary vocational educational institutions.
Technical capabilities:
— three types of ground electrodes are modeled — horizontal tubular, lying on the surface of the earth, vertical tubular and hemisphere immersed in the ground;
— three values of soil resistivity are modeled;
— the magnitude of the current through the ground electrode varies from 0 to 10 amperes and is measured using a built-in ammeter;
— built-in voltmeter allows you to measure the potential of the ground surface at various distances from the ground electrode, the potential difference between selected points on the ground surface (step voltage) and the potential distribution over the ground surface;
— instrument readings correspond to parameter values in a real network.
Specifications:
— desktop version;
— the stand panel is covered with anodized aluminum, the pattern on the panel is abrasion resistant;
— inscriptions on the front panel — in 2 languages (English and Russian);
— overall dimensions 470*320*110 mm;
— power supply — 220 V 50 Hz;
— power consumption no more than 50 W;
— weight — no more than 10 kg.
