Description
Composition: laboratory frame with fastening elements, pulse counter block, pulse recording block.
Using a gas-discharge counter, the frequency distribution of the number of pulses in a series of experiments (100-500 experiments) is measured at a given average value. Comparison of the resulting distribution with Poisson’s law (source — secondary decay from the effects of cosmic rays and natural radioactivity).
