Description

The training simulator is intended for use in the process of teaching students of higher and secondary veterinary educational institutions. The simulator is a full-color panel with four simulators of skin areas and subcutaneous layer installed on it. Designed to practice skills in two types of medical procedures: intravenous injections and blood sampling in different conditions of vascular accessibility.
Intravenous injections
1. Module with different vein depths:
visible location,
medium depth location.
2. Module with different types of veins:
imitation of standard access veins,
imitation of veins of central access.
Similar two modules are presented to practice blood sampling skills. Control of the procedure is carried out by the flow of liquid simulating blood — in the case of an injection, or by the ingress of the same liquid into the syringe during the blood collection procedure.
The leather simulator material visually and palpably imitates animal skin. The delivery set includes an electronic storage medium with multimedia software, which includes a practical course on working with the simulator and the basics of intravenous injections.
