Description
This training complex solves the problem of constructing a map of the area in an unfamiliar room using a camera image (with or without the support of rangefinders, reference signal sources, etc.) and further navigation of the robot within the room.
This educational complex contains specialized software, as well as a physical layout of the simulated room in the form of a labyrinth.
The moving object is an autonomous robotic object on a moving base, equipped with optical cameras and additional sensors.
The training system allows you to practice algorithms on a virtual copy of the environment, which can be rebuilt using the built-in editor.
The virtual control object contains an equivalent simulation of a physical camera and is intended to facilitate the process of calibration of algorithms, as well as the safety of object testing.
Signals from a virtual camera can be interpreted by external software as a stream from a real camera and used to solve navigation problems.
Similarly, the configuration of the labyrinth on the physical layout can be changed.
The resulting algorithms and tested parameters can then be transferred to a real model object for testing.
