Description
The virtual laboratory complex “Internet of Things in a Technological Process” is designed to teach the operating principles of IoT (Internet of Things) devices and systems using a three-dimensional representation of production objects, control panels, process control panels, sensors and devices using the example of the implementation of a technological process.
This complex has a built-in three-dimensional editor, which allows, using available tools, to create a production line, a virtual control panel with controls and indications located on it, an automated process control panel, as well as the following sensors and “smart” devices:
• photoelectric sensor,
• video sensor,
• Assembly line,
• Rotary table.
Placed sensors and devices can be linked to external existing Internet of Things platforms for subsequent control of virtual process systems. The complex allows you to design a simple production line, generate products and control the technological process. The user can work in several modes: top view, first person view or in virtual reality. Each hosted device has the ability to interact with the user.
The complex provides the ability to carry out the following laboratory work:
• manage virtual production,
• automate the technological process,
• display various parameters of virtual production on the control panel.
