Description
The virtual laboratory complex “Internet of Things in Manufacturing” is designed to teach, using a three-dimensional representation of a virtual robotic cell, the principles of operation of IoT (Internet of Things) devices and systems using the example of implementing a “smart manufacturing” system.
This complex has a built-in three-dimensional editor, which allows you to create a robotic cell using available tools and place robotic manipulators and conveyor belts in it.
Placed sensors and devices can be linked to external existing Internet of Things platforms for subsequent management of virtual production systems. The complex allows you to design a simple robotic cell, exercise direct control over it, and also automate production. The user can work in several modes: top view, first person view or in virtual reality. Each hosted device has the ability to interact with the user.
The complex provides the ability to carry out the following laboratory work:
• carry out production automation,
• control the robotic cell manually,
• determine the parameters of sensors and control devices.
