Description

The laboratory stand is designed to study the hydraulic characteristics of soil filtration layer models made in the form of cylindrical transparent pipelines filled with soils of different throughput capacities. The pipelines are arranged vertically and liquid flows through them from the upper pressure tank. The measurement results are displayed on digital indicators. Processing of research results is carried out manually. The stand provides the following laboratory work in the discipline “Underground hydromechanics”: – removal of the static hydraulic characteristics of the filtration layer of soil; – characterization of pressure distribution along the flow axis through the soil layer; – study of the throughput capacity of the soil layer model with different fractional compositions of the soil (three types of soil); – distribution of flows and pressures in the system when connecting models in parallel; – distribution of flows and pressures in the system when connecting models in series; – distribution of flows and pressures in the system with a mixed connection of flows. Composition: – model of the soil filtration layer (cylindrical pipes, 3 pcs.) made of transparent material; – measuring capacitance; – feed pump; — pressure measurement sensors with digital display; – flow measurement sensors.
