Description
Operating two-circuit automated water heating system according to an independent scheme with a heat exchanger in a modular floor design. The unit is autonomous, does not require connection to heat, water and sewerage networks, it can be freely moved indoors.
The unit is monitored and controlled by a controller for heating systems. Information from the unit can be transmitted to a PC placed on a console table for dispatch control and laboratory work.
The unit is designed to study the structure and principle of operation of an autonomous water heating system, experimental study of processes in the heating system, automatic and manual balancing of the heating system, and determination of the characteristics of heating devices.
It can be used for laboratory work on the courses «Heat Supply», «Heating and Heating Systems», «Thermal Engineering Measurements» and «Automation of Heating Systems» in higher, secondary and vocational educational institutions.
Technical capabilities of the installation:
— Temperature regulation in the heat generator circuit and heating device circuit according to temperature schedules;
— Ability to control the temperature of the return water;
— application of energy-saving modes at night and on weekends;
— automatic transition to summer mode of operation;
— Automatic maintenance of coolant pressure in the system circuits;
— Temperature measurement at various points of the system, necessary both for the operation of the unit and for the study of the characteristics of heating devices;
— prompt change of the connection scheme of heating devices;
— Measurement of coolant flow rate in the circuit of heating devices;
— Ability to connect a computer to remotely monitor the status and operating modes of the unit;
— calculation of the current heat output of heating devices;
— experimental study of processes in the heating system and determination of the characteristics of heating devices;
— Study of the operation of different types of temperature regulators using different control laws;
— Saving all measured parameters in the computer for possible subsequent analysis of the experiment results.

— a module of an autonomous heating system, including a controller of heating systems, a heat generator, an expansion tank, a pressure sensor, a make-up pump, a safety group, a plate heat exchanger, a temperature regulator of the coolant in the circuit of heating devices, two heating devices, sensors of the temperature of the coolant at various points of the heating system, circulation pumps in the circuit of the heat generator and the circuit of heating devices, a meter of the flow rate of the coolant in the circuit heating devices, shut-off and control valves for changing the connection scheme of heating devices, input-output modules;
