Description
The model makes it possible to demonstrate the phenomena of buckling and record the “load – deflection of the middle section” diagram for a simply supported sample under supercritical loading. The model consists of a base, a rod loading system with a maximum movement limiter, a set of weights (at least 8 pieces), a flexible rod, behind the rod there is a panel with a measuring grid to determine the deflection value.
The sample length is at least 450 mm. The base of the stand is made of rolled metal with a polymer-powder coating.
