Description

Purpose. The stand is intended for carrying out a set of practical works on studying the design of air suspensions of trucks, the principles of their functioning and operating modes, as well as the formation of initial skills in vehicle maintenance and repair in the courses “Design of automotive equipment”, “Operation of automotive equipment”, “Design and calculation of automotive equipment».
Description. The stand represents the right part of the air suspension of one of the axles installed on trucks of the KAMAZ family, assembled on a frame fragment with sections of the main elements on a floor-mounted stand coated with protective powder enamel. The section shows fragments of the main components of the air suspension: an elastic element that absorbs dynamic loads between the car body or frame and the road surface; element that dampens suspension vibrations; a unit responsible for stabilizing the vehicle relative to the road plane; fragment of a bridge beam.
