Purpose. The stand is designed to carry out a set of practical works to study the design of the transmission of passenger front-wheel drive cars, the principles of their functioning and operating modes, as well as the formation of initial skills in vehicle maintenance and repair in the courses “Design of automotive equipment”, “Operation of automotive equipment”, “Design and calculation of automotive equipment».
Description. The stand represents the transmission of a front-wheel drive passenger car of the VAZ brand, assembled with sections of the main body elements, the mechanisms of the components included in its composition (clutch, manual gearbox, front right wheel drive, front right wheel hub, gear shift slides). The entire structure is placed on a single floor-mounted stand coated with protective powder enamel. The stand is equipped with an electromechanical drive of the moving parts of the transmission units via a worm gear motor mounted on the input shaft of the gearbox. The cuts must be made in such a way as to make it possible to demonstrate the gear shifting process when the gearbox input shaft rotates.
