Description

The demonstration model is intended for conducting theoretical classes on mastering various forms of intrusions in three-dimensional form when conducting classes in specialized scientific institutions of primary, secondary and higher professional education.
Description. The demonstration model should be a monolithic structure made of polyvinyl chloride, coated with colored acrylic paint. The educational model should be a reduced section of the earth’s crust, on the side faces of which intrusions should be represented in relief, some of which should be able to be separated from the base for demonstration in full. The base of the model should be made in the form of a cut out section of the earth’s crust, on which the following objects should be located: a volcano; sills; lopolit; laccolith; rod (removable); dike (removable). All layout objects must be painted in colors as close as possible to the colors of real objects. The demonstration model must be installed on a table-top base made of laminated chipboard, at least 16 mm thick, and equipped with handles at the edges for easy carrying.
