Description
The “Internet of Things in Manufacturing” laboratory complex is a robotic production cell. Designed to teach the principles of operation of IoT (Internet of Things) devices and systems using the example of implementing a “smart manufacturing” system.
This complex allows, using a robotic manipulator, a conveyor belt and a set of sensors, to perform the following actions:
• carry out production automation,
• control the robotic cell manually,
• determine the parameters of sensors and control devices.
The hardware of the complex consists of a programmable controller and a robotic manipulator, conveyor belt and sensors connected to it. The hardware can also connect to existing Internet of Things platforms (at the customer’s choice). The controller has the ability to connect to the virtual part of the complex, which is a virtual copy of the system under study with the ability to synchronize the virtual and physical parts of the complex in real time, implementing the “digital shadow” principle. A virtual copy of the system allows you to monitor sensor parameters and control the robotic production cell.
The laboratory complex includes:
• robotic manipulator,
• Assembly line,
• programmable controller with source training code,
• virtual laboratory complex “Internet of things in production” — 1 license.
