Description
The virtual educational software complex is designed for simulating laboratory work in the main sections of the training direction for certified specialists “Technological machines and equipment”.
The software package includes 4 simulation laboratory works:
1. Cutting force when turning on the basis of a screw-cutting lathe model 1k62.
The goal of the work is to acquire skills in determining cutting forces, processing experimental data and obtaining empirical dependencies of cutting force on cutting conditions on a lathe model 1k62.
2. Cutting temperature when turning on the basis of a screw-cutting lathe model 1k62.
The purpose of the work is to acquire skills in determining the average contact temperature of the cutting zone during turning, processing experimental data and obtaining empirical dependencies of cutting temperature on cutting conditions on a lathe model 1k62.
3. Wear and durability of cutters based on a screw-cutting lathe model 1k62.
The purpose of the work is to study the nature of wear of cutters, determine the permissible amount of wear using the optimal wear criterion, and obtain the dependence of durability on cutting speed on a lathe model 1k62.
4. Geometry of the working part of turning tools.
The purpose of the work is to consolidate theoretical knowledge about the purpose, application and design of general-purpose turning tools; familiarization with methods and means of measuring their geometric parameters.
